Sunday

some thoughts on a FREEZING winter sunday

Just above -20 celsius here today....brrrrrr....going to spend this sunday indoors that's for sure!
While looking through my tea selection this morning i found a bag of belgian chocolate to make hot chocolate with....got it from a dear friend months ago but it had hidden itself among my teas, going to happily enjoy it today....*smiling*....
I had such a lovely saturday this weekend, my mother and i did a cafè visit together. Apple and mint tea, white chocolate with passionfruit, mushroom quiche with greek salad and focaccia...yummmmm...... Afterwards we tried to figure out the pattern on the vest i want to knit for myself, don't know yet if i am patient enough to make this garment....going to think about it some more.... We finished our "date" with a round of scrabble...she won.......for the second time in a row!!!...ha-ha.....

A DELIBERATE LIFE..... FILM TRAILER from RockHouse Motion on Vimeo.

"A Deliberate Life
There comes a time in all of our lives when we let ourselves dream about living life on our own terms. When we wrestle with the decision to take a step into traffic, follow our passions and live deliberately - or simply let another day, and daydream, pass.
In the end, it doesn’t matter if we make the decision of our own accord, or life makes it for us. It’s where our heart and soul are that matter. For some, the result is a closer alignment between vocation and avocation, for some it’s a reprioritization of what’s important in life, for some it’s the very real difference between life and death."

  1. Recently I pinned the exact same vest - possibly from you! How inspiring both videos are - the narrative of the fist - a wonderful metaphor for life. The second - such inspiration from Sue Austin - it reminds me that my occasional whining is so unnecessary. Thanks for sharing both.

  2. I want to knit the vest too, but I better finish some other knit projects first. I'm not sure, if it's to complicated for to knit. I don't like complicated knit projects.
