I LOVE these beautiful winter photos from Shawna Lemay!!

I often visit her blog, a wonderful place of beauty and calmness....both in photos and words...

"I wonder if the snow loves the trees and fields, that it kisses them so gently? And then it covers them up snug, you know, with a white quilt; and perhaps it says - Go to sleep, darlings, till the summer comes again."- Lewis Carroll

and
look how the leaf holds the snow in this one....almost like a spoon......
....a spoonful  of winter...*smiling*...

The hydrangca is beautiful even in wintertime!

i am "badly" wishing for this soft and warm beauty for my birthday
have decided on the next knitting piece for myself, have loved it for a loooong time
my mother is making me this as a birthday gift this year, i am such a lucky girl!!.....*smiling*....
my car didn't start today because of several freezing cold days after one another and that resulted in a clean and tidy kitchen instead of going to the grocery store. GOSH how i LOVE the feeling of having a clean and tidy kitchen! and this dish wash soap makes the boring things more nice...such a lovely smell: apple and thyme...makes me happy..

AND a little reminder:
there is still time to join the NOA NOA give-away in the previous post if you like!.....*smiling*....
