I wanna tell you about a sweet little girl...

....that is named Rebecca. She is nine years old and the daughter of my best friend. She calls me auntie Vibeke, which i must admit makes my heart melt....*smiling*.. She loves things like reading, writing, colors (green and orange are her absolute favourites), nailpolish, flowers, chocolate milk-shake, braids, indian food, cafèvisits and dogs. I am so lucky that i get to "borrow" her from time to time, we are very found of each other...we love spending time together. Yesterday she had her birthday and i got to borrow her for some hours until her parents came home from work. We had such a LOVELY time: i got to pick her up at her school. We were both so excited about getting to start on opening the birthdaypresents that she opened them in the car...*laughing*... I am so childish when it comes to presents...both giving and receiving. Since she loves reading i had bought her two books and she liked them very much. Then we first stopped by Mc Donalds to get her favourite milk shake. After that we visited a flowershop where she got to put together a bouquet of flowers herself, it turned out so pretty. We ate dinner at an indian restaurant and finished our birthday-date with visiting the library together. She is such a dear and precious child to me, makes me feel like the luckiest aunt in the world!...*smiling*...

  1. She is ever so blessed in being able to call you auntie. To have you in her life that sees her for who she is, that takes a genuine interest in her life from silly things to deep questions about life. That time you take plays a part in forming her into a strong and beautiful woman. Thank you my very dear friend ~ from the grateful heart of Rebecca's mommy <3
